My love of greeting cards started with children pictures from Anne Geddes. Sneaking in gift shops like Hallmark and Archies just to look at the creativity involved. Beautifully hand crafted cards, some with funny quotes, others with touching emotions, few for mocking friends, some merely for being sold.
Choosing a card for someone was always as special as the person to whom it would belong. Words might seem few but mean a lot, some too overwhelming, sensitive, over-expressive or either falling short of words, a card just for the sake of giving. Finally,I would stick to the card which would relate closer to the purpose and pick a few words myself and pen them down. And the card would be perfect!
So,I am starting this blog for all those kind greetings-thank you, sorry, farewell, bingo, congrats, get-well soon, bonvoyage, happy birthday, anniversary, wedding, condolence, new born, 1st, decade, silver, golden and diamond jubilee of celebrations, success, victory for all our dear ones.
In the days to come,I will be posting matter for all such category of cards for all kinds of kins. Please feel free to add your comments and offer suggestions on category of cards that I might miss. I hope this will help all those who want to express their emotions-well-wishes or grief to their near and dear ones!
